Hello, my name is Zoe but for clarities sake I go by zammitch, a name which was created by a friend while she was sitting on a sunny rock in Joshua Tree eating a PB&J. Ironically this was also the trip when I found out my love for camping. I had always enjoyed the outdoors and hiking, but during Sophmore intersession whilng sitting around a campfire cuddling a potato for warmth I realized that this was amazing and something I wanted to do whenever possible. Ever since then I have been trying to get out and explore the world around me whenever I can. Some of my absolute favorite places to go include Taos, Mammoth and Mission Trails Regional Park. Whenever I go out, if I'm not with friends, I bring my dog, Harley.
Hey! I'm also Zoe, but to make it easy, call me zmartian. I was born late November, making me a Saggitarius, a symbol which has a great longing for travel and is extremely in touch with nature, explaining the centaur (half man, half horse) representing it. I share this love for the outdoors, exploring, camping, and everything else that goes along with it. Growing up, I spent my summers camping with my family, exploring new places and admiring the beauty of Mother Earth. Now, my bucket list is filled with new places to discover, ways to giving back to the earth, and learning the science of botany and marine biology.
